Brooks Free Library is excited to announce the return of Book-a-Librarian! Under this program, library cardholders can book a thirty minute appointment with one of our qualified staff members to learn more about any of the following topics:
  • Library orientation
  • Downloading eBooks
  • Device Basics
  • Using Ancestry, Freegal, Flipster, and other digital library resources
  • Internet Basics
  • Email Basics
  • Software/App Basics
  • Reader’s advisory
  • Research using Google and beyond - using subscription and online databases.
This program is suitable for all levels. Please fill out the Book-a-Librarian Request Form as completely as possible, and we will contact you to book your appointment. Each appointment will cover one device and one question. In addition to the initial 30 minute appointment, you will also receive one follow-up covering the same topic.

Once you have completed the request form, please allow 1-2 business days for a response. Appointments are made based on your preferred appointment time and staff availability.

***Preference is given to Harwich patrons with a Brooks Free Library card.***
