This is a generalist librarian position, performing duties in various fields of librarianship, such as technical services, technology, outreach, community engagement, programming, circulation, reference and youth services. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong community engagement skills, with demonstrated experience managing programs for the public, performing outreach activities, and developing partnerships with community organizations, as well as strong public relations skills, including experience developing content and promotional strategies to inform community members about library services and resources through social media, newsletters and traditional print media. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. The incumbent must have an interest in remaining current with emerging technologies, the ability to utilize automated systems, technology hardware and software, and electronic methods of content delivery such a e-Books, databases and online resources and to assist the public in utilizing these resources. 

This position is full-time (35 hours/week) with benefits.

Salary range $27.55-$34.16 (As of July 1st: $28.10 – $34.84)

Regular evening and Saturday shifts are required.
