Tax Form Information

Does the library have tax forms?

At the advisement of the Town Health Department, the library is closed to the public and not circulating materials. This means that we cannot hand out/print out tax forms for you to pick up. We apologize for the inconvenience but we also wanted to let you know that there are still ways to get help with your taxes! Please see the contact information below for the Massachusets DOR and the IRS.

Please note that as of 3/31/20 the following information was posted on the IRS telephone assistance page. Please refer to this, and to the above link before calling the IRS telephone assistance number:

  • Stimulus payment checks: No information is available yet. No sign-up needed. Please check our coronavirus page for updates.
  • Tax deadline changed: The deadline to file and pay federal income tax is extended to July 15, 2020.
  • Telephone Assistance: Due to limited staffing, you may experience longer than usual wait time or be unable to get through via telephone. Please look for help first on IRS.gov.
  • Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) closed: The IRS has stopped all face-to-face service nationwide until further notice.
