We put this page together to answer common questions about the current election and provide resources to help you keep informed even after the election season ends. Registration and Local Information

Check to see if you are registered to vote in Massachusetts

Register to vote online through the MA Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website or call/visit the Harwich Town Clerk’s Office.

The Town Clerk’s Offices developed a great page with Harwich-specific voter information. Please see that link for additional information, including a local election calendar, voting locations, and a sample ballot.

  • Harwich Town Clerk the latest information about local elections.
  • Vote411 is a “one-stop-shop” for election-related information. It provides nonpartisan information to the public with both general and state-specific information. Add your address for personalized voting information and explore by state.
  • Ballotpedia: Encyclopedia of American Politics An encyclopedia of American politics and elections. Provides accurate and objective information about politics at all levels of government.
  • CSPAN News, debates, and more.
  • Project Vote Smart Sample Ballots by Zip Code, Elected Officials & Candidates voting records, interest group ratings, speeches, campaign contributions, and current and past ballot measures by date & issue.
  • GovTrack tracks the United States Congress. They publish the status of federal legislation and information about your representative and senators in Congress including voting records and original research on legislation.
  • MA Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF) for information and forms related to campaign finance reports. Here is a direct link to the Harwich page.

Here are several helpful sites when navigating US resources and information

  • End of Term Web Archive – captures and saves U.S. Government websites at the end of presidential administrations. The EOT has thus far preserved websites from administration changes in 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2024
  • Muckrock is a nonprofit, collaborative news site that brings together journalists, researchers and the public to request, analyze and share government information, making politics more transparent and democracy more informed.
  • Trump Trackers – tools that help keep track of the many changes being made by the Trump administration
