The Bourne and Sagamore Bridges are iconic Cape Cod landmarks and critical links in the region’s transportation network. As these nearly 90-year-old bridges continue to age, the $4.5 billion plans for their replacement is moving into an important phase. Steven Tupper’s presentation covers the history of the bridges, the decision-making process behind the replacement project, and what the future could look like for Cape Cod residents, businesses, and visitors.
