Our Vision Impaired Technology Assistance at the Library (VITAL) program needs volunteers to teach the VoiceOver screen reader on Apple iPhones or iPads to community members with vision loss.

Prior knowledge of the VoiceOver screen reader is not needed. Training will be provided to interested volunteers. Familiarity with the iPhone or iPad is preferred, though not necessary.

A commitment of approximately one hour a week is all it will take, but the difference it will make in the life of someone who is blind or who has low vision is incalculable!
